Project Lifesaver monitors patients who wander

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in October announced it was expanding a plan to help monitor seniors with Alzheimer’s and others with conditions who could be prone to leaving the house and wandering. Patients wear a bracelet that allows police offers to track them via radio signal up to 10 miles away if they get lost.
