For most people, the instant their eyes pick out the form of a snake along their path a sensation of panic shoots through the body as the heart rate quickens, blood vessels dilate and the reptilian part of the human brain decides what to do next. In Southwest Florida, that feeling is heightened this time of year as Burmese pythons start to hatch.
