The Southwest Florida Community Foundation has joined forces with the United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee to create a giving fund to move money to nonprofits that can help those in need in Hurricane Irma’s aftermath. Donors needed for whole blood and platelets
NCH Community Blood Center had to suspend collection operations for four days as a result of Hurricane Irma. Now there is a need to replenish blood supplies.
