Florida Master Naturalist Bob McConville will share details about “Big Changes at Big Cypress Bend” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Marco Island Historical Museum. Funds are in place and plans are in the works for a new parking lot, new pavilions and more boardwalks at the national preserve in the deepest part of the Fakahatchee Strand.
